The film is a remake of the 2005 Tamil film of the same name and stars Jagapati Babu and Richa Gangopadhyay in lead roles. The film was released on 4 February 2012. Plot The story begins with a shot of the naked corpse of a beautiful woman lying on a cot. The camera moves up and there is a long-distance shot of a man in a studio. He says, "This is a romantic love story." Vidya (Richa Gangopadhyay) is a young woman and her husband is a police officer named Baba (Suresh), who is also the head of a band of criminals known as the "Uniquites". On her wedding day, Baba is given a mission to kidnap a child and extort money from the child's parents. Baba convinces the girl's parents that their daughter has been kidnapped and has been married to Baba. Baba then rapes her. Baba takes his wife, Vidya, and the child to Mumbai to commit a different crime. In Mumbai, he meets a man (Suresh) who poses as a famous writer. At the airport, the gang hijack the plane, forcing everyone to drink some medicine, which is actually a drug. Everyone loses their sense of time and place. Vidya wants to get back to her husband. However, in Mumbai, Vidya's husband is shown as a corpse in a morgue. He was killed by Baba and the Uniquites. Vidya goes home, but Baba is at the door. He makes Vidya drink more of the medicine and then rapes her. Vidya decides to fight back, however, she gets hit in the stomach. Her husband comes home. In the course of the story, Vidya's husband realizes that the whole thing was a big plot to get money. He shoots Baba and the Uniquites. He returns to the airport and they shoot up the plane.
